Our quince relish is fragrant with the smell of apples and cardamom, it packs heat and a little citrus to brighten it up. Use it wherever you would use your favourite chutney, but also try it as a glaze over sweet potatoes or butternut squash. For something really unique and tasty, add it into (yes, we said into) your grilled cheese sandwich. Just spread it on and top with cheese before grilling it in your usual way. Delicious!
For this relish, we use quinces, apples, garlic, Thai peppers and Meyer lemons grown here at Innisfree Farm and add onions, organic apple cider, organic cane sugar, raisins, candied ginger, lime, mustard seeds, fenugreek, cardamom, salt and pepper.
